  • Pitu Cafe: not first choice if you only have a few days

by sunshinenow Written Apr 26, 2005

Pitu - spicy, garlic, olive oil pasta, a pizza, chocolate and banana crepes, caprese salad, a pina colada, a chocolate shake, 1025 pesos. about $40 US. 10% gratuity included. we were all happy with our meals. they all said "good" when i asked them about their opinion of the food. my pasta was fine. nothing special. i DO NOT recommend the pina colada, it tasted chalky. my friend liked her milk shake, but i thought i could taste the coco powder. wooden tables in the sand, plastic yard furniture, plastic glassware. this was the first resturant i ate in with this girls who had been complaining that they hadn't found good food. i didn't have any problems with this. i have no idea what they were complaining about. they were happy i'd done some research about resturants online.

    Yv holding a lobster

There is a little restaurant in the center of Sosua where you can eat lobster...but i dont like it when this animals are screaming when they are getting boilled. So i only wanted them to be a model for this picture and then we put them right back into the water. When they live i like them more.

    Favorite Dish: NO LOBSTER!!

    Chinese restaurant in the hotel

We had a great hotel, four restaurants a mexican, an italian, a-la-carte and chinese. And then ofcourse the buffets. This is the chinese. You have to make a reservation a day before you wanna eat there.
    Fresh food and deliouse taste.

Favorite Dish: There was a special menu for the all inclusive people. You could choose by two menu's. That was yammie, but when you wanted to eat more or somehting else that was okey. Then you had to pay a little amount. As you can see this picture was taken after a few days sun.

    Italian restaurant in the hotel

This is the Italian restaurant. The same thing as the Chinese, you have to make a reservation a day before you wanna eat there. There was a real Italian taste to this meals.

Favorite Dish: Again two menu's but two menu's in pizza, two in pasta. And always a nice salad with it.
