Pack light and take toiletries
In addition to one big suit bag with lots of pockets and a small suitcase, we always bring along a hockey bag for hauling extra pillows and our snorkeling gear. Toiletries go in the small case or in carry-on. It is also useful to have a small canvas beach bag folded in your luggage and a money belt. Not many clothese are really needed here. A couple of swimsuits, hat, cover-up, shorts, t-shirts or tanks for day, and a couple or three dresses for evening and long pants and a couple of golf shirts for the men. Comfortable but chic sandals (for beach or dinner) and a pair of running shoes (for adventuring) are all the necessary footwear. I took one cotton sweater which I only wore on the plane and a cotton jacket that I never wore. Fold-up umbrellas are a good idea since it can really rain hard, but it's not cold rain.
