by Franberu The only warning I'm gone give you are applying everywhere in the world. Dress without rich appearance leave your jewels at home. Be sober and friendly and stay out of the places where prostitution and criminality are the rules. Stay with the common poeple. I have read some purpose about your arrival in an airport where two or three young man are hurrying towards your loggage and grabbing them to transport them outside. If you don't like this, tell them politely and gently. It is more efficient if you speak in spanish. Learn this phrase before going: no necessito sus servicios por favor voy a traer mis maletas. Remember your not in your country and habits are differents. You can obtain much more by being gentle and polite than being rude. Be cool and enjoy! Never forget that the earnings of a dominican is far from what your earn home. Don't juge their way of doing things with the eye of a northamerican poeple! With that in mind, you will make a splendid trip and have some nice souvenirs back home. The dominicans are open minded and proud poeple. If they drive like crasy it is because they have been raised in such a competition spirit. Leave a Comment

by Ronald_T There it’s a lot to do about the risks at the Dominican Republic. When you arrive over there, be alert for pickpockets and real violence when you go outside the resort, and sorry to say that, it is necessary. But I never had any kind of problems there because I always took a guard with me from the resort who was free that evening. So, beware of your money, put it on a save place when your going outside, and watch out for the children, there have nimble fingers and your money is gone before you know it.

Even we drank the water that was supposed to be filtered it took a week and I was running to the bathroom and my boyfriend too. It only lasted about 3/4 days. Maybe it was the fruit and vegetables. Leave a Comment
