Centro Ceremonial de los Indios, or Corral de los Indios as it's still known, is a place where taíno people performed areítos (dances) and other activities of that time, in the presence of the caciques (chiefs) Caonabo and Anacaona.

It's one of the few monuments from the time before Columbus that exists in the Antilles. Corral de los Indios is located 5 kilometers north of San Juan and it's considered to be in the very center of the island.

The monument is circular about 235 m in diameter and in the center there's a 1,5 m long rock in which the chiefs were supposed to be seated. Unfortunately this place got some damage while doing some hydraulic works.
