La Palma was the site that salvadoran artist Fernando Llort decided to settle in. His style was quickly adopted by the locals who produce wonderful painted wood handicrafts depicting local scenes. There are countless shops in the village, since this is their most important source of revenue. The shops are all decorated with their colorful style!
What to buy: Hadicrafts, wood carvings, hand embroided clothing, etc. all done in their colorful manner.
