La Posada: Great Food with a Grand View
Eye popping view, open air but covered, great service, wonderful Latin music, excellent food.
Favorite Dish: I have eaten here 7 times and would say that the steaks are probably the favorite item. However, what is neat are all of the other accompaniements that come with the entree...everything is fresh...not even a freezer on the property. While there is a bar and wine...for some reason the fresh squeezed limonadas in the icy 26 oz glasses have been my favorite.
Good food, Great View
An amazing view, looking off over the man made lake of Suchitlan. La Posada has good food and you get to enjoy it in a colonial setting with one of the best views in the country. They also have some rooms to rent if you need longer to soak it all in.

Center Arte Cafe: Cappuccino and Local stuff
Right in the center of the town, on the square, you can get a coffee and watch the life of Suchitoto walk by. They also sell art by local artists, especialy photography, and coffee grown by a local woman's cooprative.
La Fonda el Mirador: the view, the food and the service!!!
Once I decided to eat in La Fonda El Mirador, adn the minute I entered i felt a great harmony and the enviroment was amazing!! you enter and there is a great mini-gallery with beautiful pictures, which gave you the main idea of the salvadorean culture.
In this restaurant you are able to see the beauty of the Suchitlan lake from one of its best angles!!!
the service is great and the food is delicious!!
Favorite Dish: The dish i ordered was a special fish fillet, which comes from a certain fish named Boca Colorada. It was delicious!!! it is accompained with a fruit sauce that gaves the fish an incomparable flavor. you can use this sauce instead of the conventional lemon, which gaves you diversity at the time of eating it. Besides, the dish comes with french fries and frech salad.
For drinking I ordered a fruit salad, which is a creative way of mix certain fruits and put them on a delicious beverage.
Finally, for a dessert, there is the special of the house: Tempora Tropical. this dessert comes originally from Japan, and is ice cream inside and outside it is fried. Besides it is served with sugar syrup and is a matchless experience.
The menu also counts with a variety of food like, chicken, hen, cockerel, the traditional soup, steak, shrimps and much more; and variety of beverages as well, with liquor and with non.

Again La Posada
Beside few cafés and restaurants, La Posada is the best place to eat the local cuisine...Great Gorditas (tortillas with cheese and beans).
