Colonial Church - Panchimalco

The colonial Church of Panchimalco is the center of activities in this small village just minutes from San Salvador. The spanish barroque colonial influence mixed with arab and the local indian traditions make this an interesting site to visit.

The Palm Procession in Panchimalco

The Palms Prosesssion in may is an extremely colorful event where all the town's people go out in the streets with palms that have been threaded with fresh flowers. The dance and the music add to the ambiance.
