If you stay at the Hotel Princess, you can walk to Guadalajara Grill. This is a great place to hang out after work. You can eat Mexican food (I had nachos with guacamole). Or you can drink at the bar, the waiters are very friendly and too funny! They have a small dance floor, where they play merengue and dance songs (like Bomba!). This place is outdoors and it's decorated really nice.

Make sure to go upstairs where the live band is. When I first went there, there was nobody downstairs. You can also sit outside on the patio, if you like. The band played mostly rock music, so there wasn't really any dancing. But a lot of fun to listen and meet some new people. An art cafe, La Luna is loaded with cool modern art (check out the restrooms), a shop, and arranged in different levels. Inside there's a bar, comfy sofas in secluded alcoves, and outside--a garden for dining.There's movie night and live music -- it's THE scene!

If you want to party in style, this is THE part of town to do so. There are not that many discos in town, but the best are located here.

As far as I know, Zona Rosa is the only place with nightlife. If you stay at the Hotel Princess, you can walk to Zona Rosa. Clubs I tried are Guadalajara Grill (also serves Mexican food) and Senor Frogs.

The best location in San Salvador for a classy night out at a club is in Zona Rosa. And the best hotel is undoubtely the Hilton Princess. I recommend you to visit Churchill's(inside the Hilton), and for a night with dancing and drinking I recommend the Code club which is located infront of the Hilton Princess Hotel.
