by javiernasser

nightlife in el salvador is great! there are several places that are a must go! Code is the place to be if youre ever in el salvador, you can find it in Zona Rosa. there are varios cool places to visit. for more details, and pictures of the people in these bars, restaurants and more, visit www.sivarlife.comit shows in it the life style of the salvadoreans, nightlife is the most complete section. in it, visit the one that says CODE, AVANT and SANZIVAR. hope this helps!!!! dress codes are not that strict, depending on where u go, thats how fancy u should dress however jeans are always accepted and cargo shorts only in sanzivar though.

Nightlife Spot: Nightlife is basically concentrated in the Zona Rosa area and the Blvd. de los Heroes -Metrocentro area. They both offer a big choice of bars, restaurants, nightclubs and dancing. Try to visit La Luna – it’s a great place they have a small but good menu if you want to eat and always all sorts of funky activities: live music, exhibits, etc. the word to describe it I guess would be 'salvadorean cutting edge'. well worth it, located on the Miramonte area, not far from Metro Centro, Camino Real Intercontinental Hotel, etc. You will also find live Mariachi bands and live salsa music as well in the area of the Blvd de los Heroes, with live music until very late. If you´re coming late from the beach you can have a nice meal in El Pupusodromo of Olocuilta in company of live mariachi bands( on weekends mostly) Depending where you go, but in general El Salvador is a warm country,...

Elements: Night Out In El Salvador

by JennRM

I am in my 20's and live 10 minutes from NYC,I have to give them credit in San Salvador, they know how to party till all hours of the night and have a slammin great time.Everyone is happy dancing drinking. This place in particular was awesome and they get DJ's from around the world. The cover doesn't exceed $8,so it's not too bad.You have to order a "hijo de puta",sort of the equivalent to a mind eraser.Definently recommend it !!! Nice casual, the crowd is young but they dress to impress

El Arpa: Irish pub

by Smruti

A little irish pub in San Salvador. They've got the usual on tap, but I hear the Guiness tastes different from Guiness here cause all the local beer is brewed by La Constancia, El Salvador's own brewery.....

La Luna Casa y Arte: La Luna rocks!

by SESM

Filled with contemporary art (including really cool rest rooms!), this multi level indoor/outdoor club/bar/restaurant is the best nightspot in San Salvador. The food is good, there's live music, a film night, and other special events. Nothing special although people here are quite hip!

The Zona Rosa has lots of different pubs & some discos. I think most of the discos are teenage hangouts, except maybe Senor Frogs. Guadalajara Grill is a good place to get some food and have a beer, and Los Rinconcitos is a happening place with friendly staff.

With the war over, nightlife in San Salvador has come back to life. The first time I went to San Salvador in 1984, nightlife was WILD. Then as the war got worse, it died out. Now it is back. Unfortunately, we are older, and most of the new clubs in the Zona Rosa cater to a very young crowd. But on the boulevard de los Heroes my wife and I can still find several clubs playing classic Salvadoran cumbias and merengue that we love. Another great fun club, and good place to eat is the Guadelajara in Zona Rosa.Open walls, fans whirling above, BIG band playing cumbias, and dancing the night away as only Guanacos know how. Casual. I would say that Salvadorans dress exactly like people in Los Angeles (for better or for worse). They used to be more formal than us Angelenos, and maybe are still a little bit.
