This is the fastest way to get to Carriacou fro Grenada. It takes about 20 minutes. You have to watch that your luggage does not exceed 20 kg. Also you have to step on the scales to show how much you weigh.
Costs $73US $195EC round trip.
On a clear day you have a fantastic view of the surrounding islands.

It costs EC$80.00 one way from St. Georges, Grenada to Carriacou. If you have the time this trip is worth taking because you have a fantastic view of Grenada and the surrounding islands. It takes about 2 hours and you can spend the time chatting to fellow passengers or just enjoying the view.
I suggest you sit in the middle of the boat to avoid seasickness.
The passage can be rough at times depending on the weather.

If you choose to do a day trip from Grenada or from the Grenadines, you can get around Carriacou on the its few miles of paved road using the small vans that serve as public transport. Costs range from 1 to 3 EC. Don't expect a regular schedule or uniform appearance to the vehicles. State where you are going and ask the price when you board.
If you have flown in on a 4 or 6 seater or have taken the Osprey ferry over to Carricou for the day, you should have time to go over to Tyrrel Bay or to Paradise Beach and just hang - that is "be limin' ". Do not expect the typical cruise port quick stop and shop experience. Thankfully, Carricou is still authentic
