Yacht Club: Best restaurant in the city!
When the skipper on our sailing boat first said we should go to the Yacht Club and have some lunch I started to wonder if I should have brought a blazer, and if I really would let in, dressed in just a t-shirt and shorts.Truth is the Yacht Club in Saint George's is more a pub/lunch restaurant, and definitely not anything I would think about when I hear the words "Yacht Club".But it's not negative, the Yacht Club in Saint George's is really nice, the food is great, and their T pounche (not too sure about the spelling...) is fantastic.T pounche? A rum drink, with lime, and made sure to use the local rum, the Sunset. Just 84,5 per cent alcohol in that one... ;) We went to the Yacht Club twice. First to have lunch, which was really good. And then again in the evening for dinner. Had meat both times, and wasn't disappointed at all. The restaurant is all outdoor, although with a roof over....
