The lolo's (locally owned and locally operated) is at the north end of the beach between the beach and the main rd. Here there are some outdoor restaurants that have barbeques. Really yummy. Fish, Ribs, Plantain, Rice and Peas (actually red beans), Spaghetti, and more.

We were at an art gallery and asked the curator for a suggestion of a good place to grab a light bite and a coffee. She directed us a few blocks away to Sarafini's. It's on the water near some very scenic sights, but has the feel of a local favorite. Residents stopped by to buy breads or just a cup of coffee or ice cream for the kids. They have a good sized patio with a roof so you are protected from the sun and rain but still have a clear view of the harbor and nice fresh air. Don't worry about humidity because the have misters.
There is a mix of locals and tourists but they all have a relaxed vibe. We went here twice during our stay and liked everything.
Favorite Dish: They have these mini sandwiches that are wonderful. I have prosciuto with cheese and a cappuccino. My wife also got coffee ice cream and it was out of this world. So strong, more like espresso ice cream. MMMMMm

While on tour in St. Martin, we drove by a bakery in Marigot. This was an authentic French Bakery! I knew my first destination after exiting the van would be straight to that bakery! There were wonderful pastries and fresh bread baking! We had chocolate eclairs and a ham and cheese something. Delectable!

This food is to die for! We regretted most of our restaurant trips because this food was soooooooo good! I would reccommend ordering from this service throughout your entire trip. The food is expensive but worth every penny. If you don't believe me, order the Ham and Brie sandwich. It will melt in your mouth and have you craving for more!! Be sure to try lunch first, you won't be sorry.
Favorite Dish: Ham and Brie sandwich!

This restaurant faces out onto the marina in the lagoon. Very nice setting, especially for people watching. It's outdoors but covered mostly by a nice awning.
Food is great - mussels are terrific if they came in on the flight from France that day. Salads are also huge and amazing.
It's a casual atmosphere.
Favorite Dish: Any of the salads - just so good!

You can sit inside but, I'd suggest sitting outside to do a little people watching and also to feel the wonderful breeze.
Favorite Dish: La Vie en Rose is just wonderful for it's seafood. I had a tropical Mahi-Mahi that was like nothing I've ever eaten before. I promise you - I'm not bad for an amateur chef and I've never even come close to this meal.

Located in Philippsburg, The Greenhouse is a nice place to have a casual lunch or dinner, with a full bar, pool table, video games, and is right next to the harbour. At night, this is a hangout spot for folks wanting to meet others on the island, and just hang out having great drinks, food, and coversation (unless the music's playing too loudly!) for the evening.

This restaurant in Grand Case has the most amazing atmosphere. Arched windows open to the crashing ocean waves just below, making for a wonderful dinner ambiance! Food is great, and not too pricey for a nice dinner.

Stroll through the village of Grand Case...read the posted menus & when one attracts you, give in to it. They are all great, or they would be out of business. Just go for it; trust your instincts.
