L'Americano: Sainte-Anne's Hot Spot

The most popular restaurant/bar in town. L’Americano is located directly at the seashore and right next to the market (not that much of a market, but that’s the way they call it). It’s always populated with mostly tourists at daytime, and a mixture of tourists and locals at night.

Like all places in Sainte-Anne, the one is not cheap either. For a Coke you pay € 2,40 but for a Ti Punch (the local rhum-cocktail) you pay only € 2,20. When you’re hungry this is also the place to be: pancakes and pizza’s are the specialities here. At Friday nights L’Americano offers live music performed by a local band playing Caribbean music of all genres. The place is crowded on these nights!

L’Americano offers wireless internet. The first half an hour this is for free, but that moment on you pay big money for it: 5 euro’s for the first hour following, and 2 euro’s per hour for every extra hour.
