Road Trip

by VinTolucci

There is basically one main highway in Guate. The roads are basically two lanes and many buses and trucks hold up the traffic. If attempting to pass another vehicle make sure it is on a straight path and enjoy the road trip.

Gas Prices

by VinTolucci

One thing to have in mind is when buying gasoline, it is sold by the liter not the gallon. So you end up paying more do take this into account.

Riding in Cars

Although there are many ways of getting around in Guatemala, this is not recommended. And please dont fall asleep in a cab.
