Think the Title says it all. The sandwich wasn't bad. Decent Portion size. The Wheat bread is really a Whole Wheat with whole grains. So if you aren't into crunchies in your bread go with White. Maybe they will have it that day .......

Great quality and healthy food. Dutch couple who are foodies run this cafe. Daily specials and great cakes / puddings too. Even they bake their own bread.
Lovely vegetarian food and almost most of the menu comes as a vegetarian option food.
Favorite Dish: Vegetarian Mexican Buritto and Caprese on Ciabatta

With one of Holly's waitresses, we took off late night in the evening in a small boat.
We visited some Irish friends of her and drank champagne all of the time (after the beers at dinner...).
I didn't know if or where I slept and with whom and had the next day the most terrible hangover I've ever had.

Holly is an American woman who stranded in Rio Dulce and is very helpful with all kinds of tips.
We arrived there at 10 am but she wouldn't give information (she said) if we didn't drink a beer "I love guys who drink in the morning".
She served good beer at 6 Q, a great pasta and delicious fish.
We ate while looking over the lake, hearing loud rock music and talking to other travellers.
At night, we made a trip with one of her waittresses in a boat but that's another story.

Q: Hi, again! I'm looking for the bestplace to base as I check out the Rio Dulce/Livingston area. Should I stay in R.D, or Liv? Also,...

A: I have never been to either, but I can mention that what I have heard about both suggests that Rio Dulce would be more pleasant as a base.
