Lately, there have many robberies on the beach just outside central Lívingston. Although a walk by the seashore here is absolutely wonderful, you should at least leave everything of value at home. To reach the amazing Siete Altares, which is the desire of most tourists, you will have to walk on the beach for a while which could be a risk, even with a guide.

This is a very unlikely place for Guatemala, a very laid back Caribbean atmosphere with reggae music and everything else that comes with it...
