When we stayed in Monterrico it was very guiet, we basically had our hotel and the beach in front of it to ourselves, more than three days might of been too much but at the time the solitude was lovely. In the evening we would take a walk along the beach and the sky would become a velvet black, blending into the moody black beach, it was quite romantic.
