Jeans, t-shirts, loose linen pants, maybe a hoodie for cooler nights/afternoons; or buy yourself some folk/local wear... "tipica" skirts and short sleeve blouses. Also, all the roads in the city proper retain the original cobble design, so wear comfortable, flat walking shoes. Heels or platform shoes are not practical as you could easily twist an ankle. ALL OF ANTIGUA IS COBBLESTONE!!! That means that you need to wear Tevas or chaco-like shoes. Or tennis shoes. Its annoying at first but you get used to it. Bring rain jacket and/or umbrella. IT got cold at night and I froze.
If you stay with a family you might have to provide your own Toilet paper and even bath towel.

It's plenty warm during the day, but bring a light rain coat for october.. it can be misty and foggy. Also a light jacket, as it gets cool at night. Wear solid soled shoes, the streets are all cobblestones. Leave a Comment

Make sure that you have your passport on you at all times. Sometimes they will set up a police roadblock and search your vehicle for no reason and if you do not have your passport you will go to jail. Leave a Comment

Light and small....those shuttles have limited room!
Light jacket for the evenings and comfortable walking shoes...to stand up to cobblestone steets. The rule here is casual clothes and no jewellery
