    There's many great restaurants...

There's many great restaurants in Antigua Guatemala!!!!
    * The very popular 'Fonda de la Calle Real' is located at 3a Calle Poniente No. 7 (502) 832 0507 and they serve a variety of fondues, and typical Guatemalan food (frijolitos negros, platanitos fritos, mole, chuchitos, etc.)
    * There's also a restaurant called 'Frida's' located at 5 Avenida Norte No. 29 (502) 832 0504.... I loooove this restaurant, food was great and its decoration (walls covered with Frida Kahlo's painting reproductions or portraits) is fabulous!!!!
    * Also the 'Restaurante El Porton' located at 4 Calle Poniente No. 18 (502) 832 0514
And 'Pollo Campero Antigua' at 5 Avenida Norte No. 14.
    * Now, this picture though is taken at 'The Beer Place'.... my favorite and probably my recommendation to you VT males!!!!! great beer, and food (right next door to 'Frida's Restaurant') Oh! Check out their Guatemalan beer: 'Gallo', it's pretty good! A whole lot better than that stuff you get in Mexico (Corona's and Dos X's) :o)

This is a good place to have a light local meal. It looks tiny, but there is an upstairs.

Favorite Dish: I had a Caldo Real: a good chicken and cilantro soup, served with tortillas.

I stopped by for brunch here and brunch was delicious. This is what you would call an American style eatery.

Favorite Dish: Brunch, all you can eat. Inexpensive. Friendly staff. Excellent service.
