Not a bad place to go for a beer as the service is friendly and its close to the lake...wouldn't recommend it for a romantic evening or a big meal though. They turn the water off in the bathrooms and we had to ask to have it turned back on. The fries were the worst I've ever had ( maybe the grease was turned off too)

This upstairs restaurant/bar is a nice lively spot to go for a meal or just a drink . The margaritas looked amazing but we always stay away from ice and mixed drinks in Central America ( beem sick too often). We had a chicken sandwaich and a beer and both were great. The restaurant is open air with bambii walls and nice think wooden tables...friendly service.

WE tried this place for dinner but we didn't loke the ambiance . It was too cool outside and inside you sat amongst people on the internet. However its a nice spot for breakfast . YOu can sit outside at little tables and watch the passerbys. Food is good too.

OK ceviche is like a seafood cocktail. And the lady who runs this stand does well. Most locals love the ceviches. Ceviche is eaten raw marinated in lemons and herbs I believe. This ceviche stand is in Panajachel and you cannot miss her delicious ceviche as it is on the main road leading to the waterfront area.
Favorite Dish: The shrimp is delicious.

It's very nice sitting on the first floor.
Quiet and with a good view on all the activity below.
Beer is Cabro, very good for 7 Q only. From 8 pm onwards, it's Happy Hour: second beer at half price.
Downstairs, the Carne Asada (cut and baked beef) costed 20 Q and we didn't get very much food.
Rather unfriendly servive.

Favorite Dish: Well, everywhere on the streets you can have nice taco's, papas fritas (french fries) or rosti pollo (roasted chicken).
Don't expect too much and don't be surprised when it's all rather greasy..
But, it's a nice in-bewteen
