San Andrés Xecul Travel Guide

The facade of the church is full of color and details. This picture was taken in 2006, before the actual restoration of it. Personally i prefer the less loud colors of the original paint.

The best way to get to the town is by tuc tuc or taxi, also there are some buses leaving Quetzaltenango. The town is very close to Xela (Quetzaltenango) a 20 minutes drive. Here´s a picture of me and my Argentinian friend Gero (during our 2010 visit) in front of the church.
