The river flowing past Sacapulas is of the mountain variety with broad swift currents in places and deep gorge flows in others. In town, we took a walk around the central zocalo, taking the photos shown on my introductory page. This can all be done within an hour or so.

Midway between Quiche and Uspantan
We took the bus from Coban to Uspantan with plans to stay there, but my wife became concerned about altitude sickness. I didn't experience any problems with this, but Uspantan didn't have many places...
