Antigua....macondos (supposedly the english bar but its not)..Rickys......or anywhere on wednesdays for girls who drink free.
Lots of very drunk females mainly from Scandanavia gives the place a good atmosphere.

We did not try it. We were usually exhausted by 8 PM.
There is not mcuh nightlife anyway.

On the street and everywhere: Women should dress very conservatively to avoid lustful and disrespectful stares. In the cooler, higher altitude cities (Guatemala, Antigua) people dress conservatively and shorts and tank tops stand out. In Flores, because it is so hot, skimpy outfits are more common. At one point at a restaurant in Antigua, my best friend had to go change into pants because the waiters were going ape over her skirt.

4 degrados norte is a great nightlife spot in the capital...it has many restaurants with sidewalk seating, bars, and dance clubs. It attacts a young and hip crowd and is a great spot for people watching!

anything goes. Ladies its ok to dress a lil sexy or clubby here, as most of the guatemalan girls dress this way too...I wouldnt wear anything tooooo revealing though!

Best nitelife in Guatemala you will find it in Antigua. These small village is full of disco clubs and restaurants.. It really worths.

When you crave something North American or just miss going to movies you can see popular North American movies at the movie theatre in Antigua. Ask for exact directions at the tourist info booth in the Central Park. The theare is within two blocks of the Central Park. The sound and picture aren't as good as home as they just have a screen with a DVD projector but hey it's a movie. The movies are in English with Spanish subtitles.
