You have to get, the House Soup--CALDO REAL. Filled with Chicken, rice, fresh cilantro, onions, and spices, it is an excellent introduction to delicious Guatemalan cooking. Well, seeing as it is like KFC, and you probably know what that kinda food is (greasy fried chicken.....) I suggest the chicken salad. It is actually really good, kinda a chief salad of sorts.

Cafe Condesa - Antigua Guatemala
The cafe is an old colonial house built in 1549 around a beautiful courtyard and the cafe also has lots of little rooms and outside tables - beautiful!

There are lots of restaurants in Antigua Guatemala - all different sort of food - it's a pretty touristy place! You could also try Frida's (mexican), or Cafe Flor (asian) for good quality, reasonably priced food. We had a fantastic brunch at the best hotel in Antigua (whose name escapes me for present - but it is a converted monastery - their grounds are worth a wander around!) Leave a Comment Theme: Other
