POWERBARS!

Lunch break!

Yes that's right powerbars! My lunches mostly consisted of powerbars and gatorade or water. Suprisingly they would keep you energized for the afternoon. I didn't seem to mind the taste either.

I would reccomend bringing powerbars, trail mix, gatorade powder and other quick little snacks. It is always good to have these. Sometimes food can be hard to come by! Especially snacks at night!
There are convenience stores that sell quick things like chips, peanuts, water.....etc.

No i'm not kidding! There is a domino's in town! We ordered pizza from there one night. It was really good...tasted a bit like home. After gobling it down everyone came up with questions like.....hmmm wonder where the cheese came from? or the hamburger? No matter! It was good and no one got sick!!!

There's no specific restaurant, but in general Haitian food is very tasty. I bought food from street vendors as well, and I didn't get sick.

Favorite Dish: Fried plantains (bannan peze or banna fri), pig ears, grillot (goat), l'homard (lobster)....it's all good.
