This is where I crossed into Haiti from the Dominican Republic. It is a lot different from the Dominican city across the river. It is dry, dusty, dirty and hot. There is a decent market which can hold you for an hour or so. On the outskirts of town there is a fairly large building where I was told the a large amount of people met their fate at the courtesy of Papa Doc. |
