The Artisans market was the first we came to. Lots of hand made odds and ends-some of them quite unique. The vendors inside were ok. We bought some hand painted frig magnets and wood crafts as gifts.
Not the same case at the flea market next door. We were immediately overwhelmed by aggressive vendors as only cruise ship passengers can be. We bought nothing there and got out.

What to buy: art and wood craft items

What to pay: Not much. Just a small bill, say a 5 or 10 U.S. might be a significant amount to the locals - so they're prepared to bargain. You should be too! Start at half the asking price (or less) and work from there.
