After a fun day of visiting around town, most of the team members were tired and headed off to bed in the early evening. For some reason I found the energy to join our tour guide and the manager of the Cyvadier hotel for a night on the town. For safety reasons I would make sure you are in good hands before heading out at night (although Jacmel is much safer then Port-au-Prince). I was in great hands and didn’t worry a bit. We ended up going to one of the art shops we visited early that day, it had now turned into this little bar with a cool power point presentation going on in the gallery. It was a great opportunity to relax as the sole Canadian with some Haitians. A unique opportunity that I would love to experience again.....
