The views around Anthony's Key Resort are awesome and with every step you take you will see a postcard view.
Make sure you stop and take in the views around the place and relax a bit and always remember to enjoy life with all that it has to offer.
Fondest memory: We walked everywhere we could and enjoyed the views of this small paradise. It is easy to walk along the beaches on the island as there are no fences and there is no "privatly owned" beaches here.
The scuba diving at AKR is very good all year round with a short period in April having a few jelly fish. The dive sites that AKR takes you to are mostly around the north-western tip of the island and along the west coast.
There are at least 3 wrecks that you can dive on from AKR. The three underwater wrecks are The Agular, The Odyssey and an air plane wreck located in 20 feet of water in the little bay near the resort.
Fondest memory: The crew and staff of the AKR boats make it a wonderful trip and also make for some great diving. You can and will make some very good friends while diving with the same crew and guests during the week.
Anthony's Key Resort (AKR) is in my mind the best place to go for your scuba diving and sunshine vacation.
It is located on the island of Roatan off the coast of Honduras.
At AKR you can take a scuba class to begin you Scuba life or take a specialty class in Rescue, Advanced, Underwater photographer, night diver or any of the other classes offered by this 5 star PADI center. You can even do you IDC here if you want.
For the non-divers you can learn to snorkel and even swim with the dolphins all at your own pace.
Fondest memory: Life is simple here and the hotel staff treats you like a king and where else can you get a sunset like this?
