    Reuse your bottles

Remember to put all of your bottles in the bottle holders that you will find outside of your room. You will also find the bottle holders all over the little towns and shops.

Each bottle gets reused and keeps the cost of things down. Remember that all items are shipped into the island.

Front desk ladies (??, Iris, Yolanda, ??)

When you visit AKR you will always be greeted with a smile from one of these lovley ladies.

At the front desk you can find help with getting a taxi to town, safe deposit boxes, trips around the island, check cashing and so much more.

Make sure that you smile and you will always get a smile in return.

    Viewing the sunset

    Sandy enjoying the sunset

One of the greatest ways to end a day of fun in the sun is to sit and watch the sun go down into the sea.
The view of the sunsets here make you realize that no matter what you do in this world the sun will always rise and the sun will always set. There is beauty in each day and we need to stop and enjoy what the world has to offer.

    Tipping if you please

    Elder

Please remember that the locals on the island and the other workers at the resort work to serve you and keep you happy and safe. They do not make much money and rely mostly on the tips that you provide to them.

It is customary to tip at the resorts when you leave so place it in and envelope and drop it with the desk or in the box provided or even hand it to the one you want to give it to.

Do not forget the dive masters and boat captains if you have been diving and do not forget the boat taxiand kitchen crews.

Not once while we were here did we ever get bad service and everyone was most helpful.

This is Elder who was one of the people that was very helpful to us everyday. It was nice to see his smiling face each day.
