There is a disco which is open from '8pm until ???' as says the sign. It is called Bolongos and is a decent place, though I've never been inside. I think it may be mainly for locals, but they'd allow you in. Just don't bring in any guns!

The Twisted Toucan is a great spot to start and end the evening. The food is a little slow to get out of the kitchen but the happy hour is 3 hours long followed by a ladies hour where the ladies drinks are half price.

I took my VT hat to another one of the local bars on the island and decided to try a little of the local rums. After a while my VT hat had enough and was dancing on the bar top so we had to stop. There are some good rums on the island to be had.... I would recommend that you try one each night but do not take your VT hat as he does not know when to stop....

Since Bolongos has closed, this is the new places for the kiddie touristos to hang out (kiddie being teen to adult, mainly adult). Anyway, it was closed when I went there, but looks pretty neat. Hard to get to: at the West Bay beach, follow the road south until it ends, then continue to drive/walk along the beach. Where the beach ends, the fun begins.

In West End, Foster's is a great place to hang out, dance, drink, and have fun. Lot's of loud raggamuffin, reggae, and dancehall music to dance too

About halfway down the main West End drag is Nova, or it could be Nola. Can't quite remember. Again a smallish place but here they start playing more of your dance type music and a bit louder so it's another good place to stop into on your night out and your journey towards Fosters.

Basically the nightlife in Roatan resides around West End. The cab drops you off at the end of this "road" and then you just walk down and stick you head in whichever bar or restaurant takes your fancy. On our last night there was actually a power outage in town so the most popular bars were those with their own generators.

This is usually the final destination of the night. You start at the top of the road and by the time you reach Fosters at the very end the world is a happier place. Large crowd, good music and lots of railings to hang on to.
