All the sportive activities were available at the hotel, as expected. My only surprise was the several beach activities also free, with the normal exception of the paid motorized sports and scuba diving.
The alternatives were many, and the controlled time of use for all the guests was just a routine.

You can grab some flippers and a mask and snorkel and walk about 6 feet into the water - still waist deep - and be snorkeling in minutes. Early morning is the best time, before the regular beach-goers stir up the silt. The fish life isn't abundant, but urchins and brain coral and even some eels can be seen on most days.

They tried hard in the hotel to gather guests in sportive events, but the strong sun didn't advice to sweat.
Gymnastic in the pool, and the small boats were the exception, in a wide offer.

The wind was up a few of the days we were there and we didn't get to try the Hobie, but we intend to on our return trip.

Wrecks, reefs, sponges, fans, and fish! Runaway Bay has it all!
Equipment: You don't have to bring anything to enjoy this they have it all including Sherwood BC's and regulators!
