Night show at the Sunspree

Another thing I liked about the Sunspree was the NIGHTLY ENTERTAINMENT they offered and since the resort is very family oriented, most shows always included
the children there.
My favourite night was when they had a troupe of young people playing the Bongos with some very talented dancers, dancing to the beat of the bongos.
Another night they featured a steel drum band - very cool.
One night they had a wonderful group of singers and costumed dancers and at the end of the show, invited guests up to the stage to dance. Of course, Hansi was up there. See if you can spot him in his red flowered shirt!

Do you like reggae? And you haven't listen about Reggae Sunfest? I can't belive it. It's the best reggae festival in the world and it is Jamaica.
It takes place in Mo'Bay during a full week. Each night the music is diferent, the musicians are from a diferent branches of the Jamican music, ska, rocksteday, raggamuffin, dancehall, roots...
The best reggae performers are there. It's a great oportunity to now how jamaicans live music. From the peacefull roots reggae to tha hardcore culture or dancehall.
I was there in the 2005 and I could see artist like Sizzla, Alton Ellis, Mighty Diamonds, Junior Marley, Elephant Man, Capleton...
In my opinion and without any dobut the best concert was Sizzla, I have never seen so much energy in a stage!!
Moho' Fayah!!

Wacky Wednesday: party

On Wednesday night, you can find meanest Jamaican block party called Wacky Wednesday. It's between the Hip Strip and town, just ask any local where it is. It starts around 1 AM and I left close to 5AM, but the party was still going on!!!! A lot of locals hit this place and a few fortunate tourist do too. Don't be intimidated by the shenanigans. Just get out there and let it loose. There is beverage service and a mean reggae beat to make it all come together for a wild , vibing night.

Peace,

Night club

This night club has it all, it's located on the water and they use it well. The club has a water play ground like you would not believe. It has a 3 story water slide, water trampolines, water volleyball courts. The drinks can be rather expensive so bring lots of money. Lots of fun to be had, and bring your swim suit.

Water-play area at the rear of the club

This is a fun club that marks the beginning of the Hip Strip (MoBay side). It offers drinks, meals and dancing, and also has waterslides and floating lilo beds in an enclosed section behind the club. It is open all day and is one of a chain. Most of the clubbers are students and they have great fun entering different contests including the popular 'wet t-shirt' very popular with the males!!

Dress Code: I'm not sure if there is a dress code, I doubt it! but I will find out.

Pier One at the edge of River Bay

I haven't been here yet, but all my friends tell me it's great.

There are a lot of Concerts here featuring wellknown Jamaican Reggae stars. My friend Cleveland video taped some for me when he was a cameraman for a local TV station. The concerts are full of energy and very loud. Great stuff!

Smile for the camera

The Pool /Piano Bar was the place to hang out while taking a break from the beach. With 6 bars lovated all over on was never far from a refreshing cocktail. We met a lot of fun people to party with. The boys behind the bar kept us lively and we hated to say goodbye to them.
