 | Negril Things To Do | Tips 21 - 30 of 58 | | Popular Things To Do | Other Things To Do Tips | All Tips (58) My sister's partner had got offers from some local people, who had glassbottom boats, usual boats, which would take us to the coral reefs, luxury boats which would take us to the coral reefs and all the drinks and food were included in the price. We wanted to take a glassbottom boat, but it had closed for the day, so we took the usual boat. The man took us to the reef where we did snorkeling. It's something I've never tried before and I was maybe a little bit nervous about it, but it went well. I just fell in love with the underwater world! I have naturally seen it on TV but nothing had prepared me for its beautiness. We had an hour to do snorkeling and managed to see quite a bit. So many colourful fish, something we call sea stars, because they are in a shape of a star, sea urchins, different plants and fossils. It was so very interesting. At the end I got seasick, because we were in the open sea and the waves were quite big and finally I threw up. What an embarrassing end to our snorkeling! I threw up also from the boat. What a humiliating ending to a wonderful day! Leave a Comment

A nice walk through falls in freshwater...with a very knowledgeable tour guide. Has minicascades and swimming holes. So don't forget that you'll be wearing your swim suits. So much better than the touristy Dunns Falls. They make you wear water shoes bc our flip flops weren't sturdy enough..they really helped us out..bc you can easily fall. Totally worth it! Leave a Comment Directions: Have to go with a tour group, or can get someone to drive you (there are many locals willing to drive you for a decent cost). We got a driver. It is about an hour and a half away, and the drive there was stunning bc you really see how people live there.Website: www.mayfieldfalls.com

If you love sunbathing Negril definately is your place. Sand is fine and white, the beach streches for miles, water is crystal clear and turquoise and warm. Ideal place for a relaxing holiday and having gorgeous suntan. Leave a Comment

If you go to Negril without even visiting Hedonism II, you are an idiot. Think of the wildest, most outrageous nightclub you've been to, multiply it by 10 and make it open for 24 hours (ok, the after hours food at hedo sucks but so what) Leave a Comment

This is a must do but not for the faint at heart. Everyone wants you to see their wares and to spend money but the experience is something I can not explain. Leave a Comment Address: Right before the circle in NegrilDirections: Near Downtown Negril by the bridge

This is a beautiful beach with beautiful people. There's even an area called "Risky Business" for those who enjoy the less clothed individuals. Look out for the nasty old English guys, though. :-) Leave a Comment Address: NegrilDirections: Seven Mile Beach...ask any cab driver.

You can rent a motorbike and go to Roaring River, which is around 45 minutes away from Negril. It is a great natural place, full with trees, plants, a mineral spring, and caves. Leave a Comment

The guys that you ride out in the boat with are worth the trip. They are something else. Also, the view of the coast line that this offers you is incredible. Being up that high and still being able to see the bottom of the sea. It is beautiful and exhillerating. Leave a Comment Address: Negril Tree House

Also a famous destination. While the area offers swimming and snorkeling, the main attraction is watching people dive from the cliffs. That and the various caves and grottos which can be explored while in the water. Leave a Comment
