 | Negril Things To Do | Tips 51 - 58 of 58 | | Popular Things To Do | Other Things To Do Tips | All Tips (58) With 10 Km of sand you may choose where to swim - in a crowded and animated spot, or in a calm area. I saw no waves, no currents... Many all-inclusive resorts and restaurants share the beach, that, as a matter of fact is totally public, with several public accesses. The privacy and exclusivity respect the facilities offered by the different resorts, and not to the beach itself. Leave a Comment

One of the highlights of Jamaica, is not an astonishing place, but a merging place, because... it's historical. We saw (and lived it) first from the see and then from the top, and... OK. Good calm times, with lots of happy people around us. Leave a Comment

Taking a glass bottom boat trip out to the reef, going snorkeling or just cruising along the Beach or Cliffs is something you should really make a point of doing, there's so much to see and it's a great way to check out other resorts too. The water is so clear you can see down to over 50 ft, along the Cliffs the rocks and corals rise up and in places get so shallow you can see why the Lighthouse was needed We went snorkeling to the big reef (take bread to feed the fish) one day and took a picnic to Booby Key on another day ...... great time had by all, the dolphins swimming in front as we came back from the picnic were a bonus We used a new boat this year both times, 'Family Bread', friendly crew and typically Jamaican, everything was "No problem" ..... we'll be back guys! Their boss House (aka House of Black) was very knowledgeable about where we should go and an absolute mine of information Leave a Comment Address: NEGRILPhone: (1) 876-498-6941,(1)876-3461419Directions: On the Beach next to MarinersWebsite: www.countryecotours.com

A trip along the coast, with good music and cool drinks, was our apperitive to some minutes snorkelling in Pirate's Cove. I read that it is expensive (we were in all-inclusive basis), but... what is not expensive in Jamaica to foreigners? We took it facing Margaritaville but don't know how and where to book it. Just along the road from the Beaches resort & spa. about a 20 minute ride in a cab. Ricks cafe has live reggae music, Sea Cliff Divers... yes the locals are insane!, a bar and restaurant. Make sure you arrive early though as it does get crowded as the sun goes down! Make your way through the bar and out of the other side to get the best views of the sunset :o)

One of the top attractions in Negril is this complex., with a fabulous location above Pirate's cove. Sunset was the argument that took us there, but I think that the real reason is... everybody goes. More than a café, this is a... happening. Leave a Comment
