W. H. Bramble Airport on the east coast, mid-way between the north & south ends of the island, is approachable only from the north end. The views on the drive are spectacular, the road is well-paved (until you near the airport) & there is virtually no traffic.

THE HIGHEST POINT ON THE ISLAND IS CALLED CHANCES PEAK. ELEVATION IS 914 METERS. THE PEAK IS RIGHT NEXT TO THE VOLCANO, SO THAT A PERSON'S 'CHANCES' OF CLIMBING IT ARE ABSOLUTELY NIL....
