Punda in Willenstad has plenty of restaurants but almost NO bars or clubs. There is one cafe by Subway and KFC that opens until midnight and another bar about 200m away towards the bridge then up a side street to the left. The swedish owner seems ok and the bar there is nice - just very quiet. The Old Dutch Cafe is about 2-3mins walk on the same street in the opposite direction and they served food til very late, it's good too. Other than that there is no reason to come here. Limited options after dark and a very very high chance of being a victim of crime. You WILL be asked for money, you WILL be offered cocaine and you WILL be watched by black men until you veer off the main street when it's too late. In short, go somewhere else, it's rubbish.

Punda at dusk, with its old street lamps turned on, was a very mellow sight to behold at the end of a long day of sightseeing and shopping. Although I did not get to stay into the evening in Curacao - I’ll be back to do that later! - I could tell how nice it would be to relax along the waterfront promenade of Punda and sip a beer and have a good conversation and dinner.
I missed out on that experience but I captured the mood in this photograph I think.

Fun is no gamble in Curacao, one of the Caribbean's best-kept secrets, and one of the world's most exciting gambling destinations.
The night is young. The stakes are high. The action is irresistible. And Curacao’s Casinos are teeming with excitement and energy. In their causal yet elegant casinos, players will discover a variety of ways to test lady luck and possibly walk away with a jaw-dropping jackpot.

This is a typical casino -- slot machines, blackjack tables, whatever. No real surprises. Casinos are casinos. If you're into this, you'll have fun.
Just a note - this is attached to a resort. People had tried to come into the resort by going through the casino, but they do have security guards posted. If you are registered at the resort, you have an armband on so they know who is supposed to be there. If you don't have the band, they will not let you through into the resort.
Dress Code: This is attached to the Breezes resort. If you're coming into the casino from off the resort, this shouldn't be an issue, but you can't come in with a bathing suit, and you need shoes. Other than that, there's no dress code.

When the sun goes down, visitors can enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants offering a wide variety of interesting cuisines. The casinos are also a popular option for evening entertainment.
