St. Martin Map by TRimer Visitors to this Caribbean island get to enjoy both Dutch St. Maarten and French St. Martin. The island at 37 square miles is the smallest land mass in the world to be divided between two governments. Although there are two separate governments, visitors cross between the two sides without any restrictions. Signs along the side of the road mark the transitions. There are no gates, guards, or forms to sign. And although both sides speak English and accept US dollars, they still retain a lot of their European origins with great Dutch and French cheeses, fine French restaurants, Indonesian rijstafels brought by the Dutch, a European indifference to topless, even nude, beaches, and much more. All of this is colored with the Caribbean, leading to sunny, hot days on beautiful beaches and warm nights with soft breezes blowing through open-air, seaside restaurants. Add in casinos and bars for nightlife, calypso-filled carnivals, and duty-free shopping for jewelry, alcohol, and cigars, and you'll have the perfect vacation.
St. Martin has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. It is a taste of Europe with a little bit of sand. Leave a Comment

by sandravdp This is the map of Curacao. The island isn't very big, You can drive around it in one day. It's the scubadiving and the beaches that make you enjoy your stay the most. Most people spend their time in the south point, but do go to the north point as well. You will find more local people there and funny things like goats that walk on the roads :) Leave a Comment

by jake22 Diving is the most important and memorable activity on the island All the dives are beautiful and the plant and fish life is great. The boat dives allows diving on the reefs of Klien Bonaire and the difficult shore dive entry reefs, but there is shore diving in lovely areas all up and down the southern shore.
I miss the easy diving and the unlimited shore diving and the friendly service of the resort staff. Leave a Comment

by Chrystalain The first name of the Beach was Sualouiga and was habited by Arawak and Carib indians. It was discovered by Christophe Colomb in 1493. A Treaty between Frendch and Dutch was signed in 1648. No border to be seen! The only difference beween the two parts might be the language : Dutch, French, but English everywhere. Same for the money : Franc, Guilder and US dollar everywhere. There are 36 beaches, more than 100 hotels, 400 restaurants and 1000 boutiques. Leave a Comment

by nnoah go snorkeling or scuba diving. The water is amazingly clear and there are all kinds of fish and coral to see. You should also try the local specialty drink: the guavaberry.
The beautiful water. Leave a Comment

visiting Willemstad. Willemstad is divided in two regions; Punda and Otrabanda. Punda and Otrabanda are connected with two bridges. One big bridge is called the Queen Juliana bridge. Queen Juliana is the former Queen of Holland. There is also a little pontjesbridge, called the Queen Emmabridge. Queen Emma is the mother of Queen Juliana. This little pontjesbridge can be open and closed. Opening is happening by floating the little pontjes ( ponteen ) towards a direction. While opening, this can take some time, people can go with a ferry to the other side of the city. Pictures are coming ! Leave a Comment
