After an hour of stay and a couple of beers, i began to discover nice details like this cute house located in the main street of the village.

Moyogalpa is the arrival port of the Ferry from San Jorge and also is Ometepe´s Capital. Is a small and not so clean town. There few things to do in the village, some local restaurants, cybercafes, cheap small hotels and a nice church. Most of the tourists dissapear after the arrival taking the local busses to other places in the island. I wasn´t shure of what to do, so i visited the church, walked along the main road, got a beer in a cozy hotel and bar (owned by americans) and then i visited one of the many small tour operators and took and island tour.

good quality hotel: american hotel for a good hot shower

Moyogalpa is the main port in Ometepe island, you can get there fron San Jorge near Rivas. There you can take a boat to Moyogalpa, and from there you can take one of the buses that go arround the...
