Located in San Juan del Sur right along the beach front is Scuba Shack. I did two dives with them. I found the staff to be professional (and two were Canadian) and very experienced in diving. One of the staff also set up Scuba Shack in Malawi and has many technical diving certifications. This PADI resort has standardized all it's equipment so you are not a get an array of different gear. The dives were not bad but there was a bit of surge happening. The boat we used to get to the dive site was fairly small but it is not the boat that they were supposed to have so hopefully that gets fixed. It is nice coastline that you travel to get to the diving location. I don't remember how much the diving cost but I think it was like US $60-65 for two dives including all equipment. |
