Little Corn Island is not particularly known for its nightlife, and to tell the truth, I did not miss it at all. But there was one exception to the normally laid back pace of life. Saturday night on the island is party night and Tranquilo Cafe is the place to go if meeting up with other fun-seeking travellers is your thing. It's the Little Corn Island night spot with good music and occasional dancing. The place is famous for its theme parties (Bonfire Parties, DJ nights) and 'Pub Quiz'. I passed by several times and it was always full of people taking advantage of Happy Hour (5-7pm) and watching yet another incredible sunset.

I rarely visit the village in the evening, but if I did, it was when I dined in Color View, a little home-style restaurant on west side of the island. We usually arrived earlier to enjoy the sunset which is one of the most magic spectacles on Little Corn Island, one that takes your breath away. After dinner we took a walk across the island and spent the rest of the night chilling in a hammock, listening to the relaxing sounds of the ocean waves, watching the star-filled sky and sipping delicious rum Flor de Caña.
