Bridgette's: Inexpensive Lobster

by epicult

Candle light dining is your only option on Little Corn due to the fact that there simply is no electricity... unless you dine in the more upscale restaurants/hotels that have generator produced electricity. If you don't mind candles only, Bridgette cooks up a mean lobster , fish and fried chicken. She'll also cook up any fish you catch for free as long as you share the rest with her guests. Unis and Joanna keep the beers coming and the candles burning. They close when you leave or they run out of whatever your poison is. Lobster ($6.50 US for two large tails) w/massive portions of platano, guyo pinto and coleslaw. Broiled, fried or sauteed in garlic.

Sorry, as I said on my other pages...there's no special restaurant for me to remember in each country I've visited. I like stopping at those small restaurants, where I see native people...and yes, I don't like those first class stuff. That is less important onmy journeys. I like eating plantains, fruits and vegetables or salad (I usually don't eat a lot beef, pork or fish).

Open up your wallet and splurge for the lobster dinner at Restaurante Doña Inés, located along the beachfront in San Juan del Sur. You won’t regret it.
