Your bamboo hut or small restaurant: Nightlife? Non-existant!

by jayneno

There is no nightlife on these islands -- after dinner all you can do is sit and talk to whomever else is staying at the small hotels.Often very few people - I am not saying it is a bad thing - but just be aware people go to bed very early and also get up early. It is hard to sleep in as the locals are very load once they get up lol. many hotels also close their doors very early - leaving you with no option than to go to your room (as it is SUPER dark outside). Whomever is leaving the islands the next day gets up at 4-5am - to get to the airport in time. Whatever you have!

unforgettable beauty!!!

My friends , Herman and Sabine, who were great company in San Blas, sent me a lot of beautiful photos. I can't stop myself from showing you this one. As there is nothing to do in the night and you are confined in the same place you are lucky when the co-travellers are nice people and you become good friends. So we stayed up talking and enjoying the magical sunsets and the unbelievably beautiful night sky dome with the millions of stars!!! Believe me it was more than enough....
