Unfortunately, nobody is perfect...
One day we asked the boatman to take us to an island we could see on our way but was not normally visited. He was reluctant but after we insisted he conceded. So we landed on it and the disappointment came in a matter of seconds. The whole island was littered so badly that we felt sorry for the poor island !! Kuna boatmen use it to throw their waste! There were all kinds of empty cans and plastic boxes, empty bottles and broken parts of boat accessories. On the other side there were all kinds of nasty insects that bit us fiercely during our short walk. The bushes were impassable so we decided to come back and stop feeding the sand flies with our blood. On the way back we saw a boat on the beach with the name 'Coco Blanco' on it.
