If you have been to Panama City enough, you'd know this store brand.
Located at Plaza Terronal not far from downtown David, $ 2 by taxi.
It is a mini ( by North American standard ) department store. If you feel like walking around in an AC/Mall environment to spend a couple hours, Conway should fit the bill.
Also at the mall, among other stores, they have Arrocha - an upscale Pharmacy/department store. Believe it or not, some products we found at Arrocha were cheaper than Romero. Mall Terronal is much better than Mall Chiriquí in our opinion.
What to buy: Usually we buy $ 3 - $5 t shirt/tops there.
Their coffee shop is at the top floor, with free wifi. Lunch was fine, about $ 3 something for a set menu : main dish and a drink.
View is quite nice though.
This is actually the super market part from the very same department store Romero, downtown David. The well stocked super market is attached to the main store Romero. You can access via the main front Romero entrance or from the side street.
Pretty much has everything, also has a small area where you can have a sandwich or a coffee. We bought our drinks and snacks there all the time.
Romero has shut down it's department store section. The little pharmacy and super market are still there and open for business. the locals say the department store section will be closed for good.
Anyway, there are still a few more down the street for shoppers.
What to buy: Groceries, most super market items.
