Ambience was good. Crowded. Outdoor seating.
Service- horrible. Sodas came first. Water took an hour.
Food took forever.
Pizza came out in about 30 minutes, the next 4 plates came out with out silverware, 1 1/2 hours after we sat. 5 more minutes to receive silverware, food on the verge of being cold.
Final dish came out 10 minutes later without silverware again.
Waitress unapologetic.
We are not impatient people but this was verging on ridiculous.
Our first time being so inspired to write a review.
We thought we were on the tv show "The Boiling Point".
Afraid to order dessert and stay until midnight.
Got there at 6:30, left at 9:00.
Favorite Dish: The fish was good but the rest was not very good.
Pizza could be better.
Fried Chicken was mystery pieces.
Churrasco...how do you say "chewy" in spanish?

There is a restaurant on the ground floor of Don Pepe hotel with very decent food. The menu has a great variety of meat and fish dishes, plus pastas, and several local specialties. There are fresh fruit juices and coffee. Main dishes are around 8$, average for the local prices.

This was my favourite and was recommended to me by other travellers.
It has a cozy family like atmosphere, very friendly owners serving you with great care and wonderful prices, almost half as much as in the other restaurants. Food includes Panamanian and Chinese recipes and definitely has a home made taste. There are noodles, salads made of organic vegetables and rich milk shakes! Their soups are great as well as everything I tried there. Try their home made desserts!
In the morning I sat at the outside tables and watched locals go by trying to deduct personal information from small details. I took some shots, too.
Delicious mains cost 2-3$, juices less than a dollar and coffee is at 0.50$!
You will see it standing alone on the main road on your right side going towards the west end of the town.

Small little cafe on the main road, between the handicrafts market & the Cathedral. The owner is very friendly and speaks English. The food is surprisingly good!
Favorite Dish: Husband loved the smoked chicken.
