Sunscreen, Sunscreen, and more Sunscreen
On and around the beach you can wear anything. If you're visiting historical sites, espeically churches, you should dress nicely. Women should wear skirts and men should wear pants (regardless of the temperature) and shirts with a collar.I recommend flip-flops for the beach. The sand can get really hot. A good beach towel or 2, a hat and plenty of sunscreen. With it's proximity to the Equator, that Panama sun will french fry the typical North American or European in about 15 minutes. I used # 50 & got burned in 2 hours!
