Bucaro (pronounced BOO cuh row) is a fishing village on the Pacific at the mouth of the Tonosi River. It doesn't appear on most maps, but it is a very busy place where the fishing boats in that area drop their catch off to be shipped to markets in Panama City.
We have a contractor that will take you on boat tours of the Tonosi River or around Isla Las Cañas, or even out on the Pacific on calm days. We will take you there and pick you up as part of the activity package.
There is much wildlife to see there; birds, crocodiles and monkeys!
See things to do for more info on the boat tours in Bucaro.
