The old town of Arecibo is filled with old and beautiful buildings. The city, founded around 1616, was established at the tip of peninsula border by the Atlantic Ocean and the Rio Grande de Arecibo. Among its most beautiful buildings are: Cathedral of San Felipe de Arecibo, the City Hall, the Teatro Oliver, Casa Ulanga, Paseo Victor Rojas, Plaza de Recreo y Plaza del Corregimiento.
