We took a trip here from Patillas.
This small nature reserve is located on Jobos Bay, about 4.5 miles southwest of Guayama Pueblo. It was designated a reserve in 1918, to protect the region's mangrove forests.
Today, it is a good area for bird watching. I saw a few when I was there. I also saw a lot of crabs, and small fish. The reserve can be explored using wooden boardwalks.
Fishing is strictly prohibited, but you are free to explore the lagoon on both motorized, and non motorized boat. There is also a small campground located within the reserve.
